I have recently decided to relocate and I am thus closing my practice on 10 December 2025 and moving from the Eastern Cape.
Reception has a list of psychiatrists available in PE.
Generally GP’s don’t mind renewing psychiatric medication but most are hesitant to change medication if this is required. For ease of reference keep a copy of the most recently issued script, since the relevant ICD diagnostic codes are also indicated.
If there is a crisis or emergency your GP can refer to a psychiatrist of choice.

GP’s is gewoonlik gewillig om psigiatriese medikasie te herhaal maar is meestal nie gemaklik om veranderinge te maak nie. Hou`n afskrif van die nuutste voorskrif ter verwysing aangesien die relevante ICD 10 diagnostiese kodes ook daarop aangedui word.
Indien daar `n krisis of noodgeval ontstaan kan u GP `n nood verwysing na `n psigiater van keuse reël.
